Inverness have rejected a bid of around £80,000 for midfielder Ross Draper.
County have already had an offer of £50,000 rejected for the player.
There was County scouts, visible in County track suits at Inverness’ 4-1 win over Brora, in a game which Draper featured.
Manager John Robertson has assured fans Draper won’t be sold on the cheap as he told the press:
“County have enquired, but their valuation of Ross is nowhere near what we think he is worth.
“He’s a big player for us. The board have factored Ross and his wage into the budget, so we are under no pressure unless it’s a very substantial bid.
“If Ross County come up with a bid that matches or exceeds our valuation then perhaps there’s an opportunity to do something.
“But it’s not on our radar right now. We don’t want him to go. Ross is aware of that.”
Draper has made over 200 appearances and a departure to Ross County would be both demoralizing and also a heavy blow for the upcoming season.
