Robertson praises trailist Davidson

Inverness manager John Robertson has praised the attitude and desire of trailist Scott Davidson.
Davidson is currently on a three week trail from Fort William to try and make the step up from the Highland League to the Championship.

He scored 30 goals for a Fort William side that finished 17th in the Highland League.

Robertson said in the P&J: “We are talking to Scott about the possibilities. He has come in with a tremendous attitude.

“He wanted to come and do pre-season training with us and he is one that we have high hopes for.

“The first thing we will get him doing is going from part-time training to full-time training. Then he goes into the mix.

“He is a big lad and has already shown he has tremendous fitness. He is quick and big. We have got to find players that have different qualities and different attributes. First and foremost I’ve got to compliment him. His attitude in training was tremendous.

“He wants the opportunity and he has got a desire to try to win a contract.

“As a manger that is all I can ask for, somebody to come in and show the commitment, desire and passion to want to be here.”
