Alex Fisher has expressed at his delight for signing for Motherwell, but to leave Inverness with the club in the Championship leaves a bitter taste in his mouth.
Fisher told th press: “It’s bittersweet because I had a lot of friends at Inverness. It’s a great club, with a really nice squad and it’s with regret that outcome happened.”
“But, for me personally it’s nice to stay in the same league and I feel there’s a bit of unfinished business.”
Fisher was upbeat about the ICTFC’s chances of bouncing back up as he said: “A lot of the players are still there and they are very good players. They just signed an new manager and it will be a fresh start. I can only wish them all the success because it’s a club that been very good to me in a lot of ways.”
Fisher was speaking at his first press conference as a Motherwell player.
He finished ICTFC top scorer last season despite limited starts.
